Botox works very well for smile lines, frown lines, lines that appear when you look “puzzled”. Basically any lines that form when you contract the muscles of your face. These lines develop over time particularly around the eyes and mouth, between your eyebrows and on your forehead. Botox relaxes that muscles that cause these lines – making you appear younger and more wrinkle free.
Juvederm can complement the Botox procedure by filling in lines and wrinkles that develop as we age. These lines and wrinkles may exist regardless of whether we contract the facial muscles or not. In this case, these more permanent lines are better suited for “filling” then with relaxing the muscle. In this case, Juvederm works extremely well.
